Since 2006, research trips started by university students with an interest in their heritage have become the seeds. In 2010, the support project began with the initial planting of 100,000 Vitamin Tree saplings in Taecheon.
By 2016, Unheung was discovered to have conditions more favorable for Vitamin Tree cultivation, leading to the establishment of a large-scale farm. Since then, Unheung has continued to increase its fruit production and has served as the homeland of the Vitamin Tree, distributing saplings to other regions.
